Minor Peewee, B/BB Rep, 2014-2015, BB (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

The Minor Peewee team captured the MD Challenge Cup Championship this weekend held in Burlington, ON.  They defeated two host  Burlington Bulldog teams in the semi final and final enroute to capture the title. The team finished the weekend with an impressive 4-0-1 record  and a +22 goal differential for the tournament. Contributions where made from all lines and defence - a total team effort!   Goalie - Josh Kirton was recognized as Championship Game MVP as he made key stops in some key situations to keep shut down the Buldogs momentum.  Juda St. John was recognized as the tournament  MVP - ...

1.  Please be on time.  Ice is costly and practice begins once the zamboni is off the ice and the gates are closed. 2.  Please bring your practice jerseys to practice as they are necessary for line drills. 3.  For all our safety, please do not play with the pucks after the whistle has blown. 4.  We are going to run all practices at game speed.  Fast skating as well as hard, accurate passes and shots are expected at all times unless otherwise directed by the coaches.   

Chris from Pete's Sports will be at Oakridge Arena 5:15 pm. on Tuesday September 30 to measure the boys for team jackets and garment bags.  

A great effort today boys.  The coaches appreciate your hard work!!! We have a parents meeting 8 pm this Wednesday (September 17) at Oakridge Arena in the Optimist Board Room.  Please bring your cheque book and your volunteer spirit. We also have dry land practice 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday September 20 at the Outdoor Rink at UWO (beside the tennis courts).  

Thanks to all the players for their hard work during this difficult tryout process.  The final roster is listed below and those not listed now have the opportunity to try out for the 2003 Northridge MD team.
