Minor PeeWee MD on a roll - MD Challenge Cup Champions!
The Minor Peewee team captured the MD Challenge Cup Championship this weekend held in Burlington, ON. They defeated two host Burlington Bulldog teams in the semi final and final enroute to capture the title. The team finished the weekend with an impressive 4-0-1 record and a +22 goal differential for the tournament. Contributions where made from all lines and defence - a total team effort! Goalie - Josh Kirton was recognized as Championship Game MVP as he made key stops in some key situations to keep shut down the Buldogs momentum. Juda St. John was recognized as the tournament MVP - his consistent hard work, hustle, positive energy and teamwork made a difference!
This is the second tournament championship win is as many tries for the Minor PeeWee team as they captured the Motown Cup in Detroit Michigan earlier this season in October.
