Peewee, 2013-2014, BB (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

An over site on my part, I guess the practice was cancelled back in October, I just had always assuned that we would always have a Tuesday practice. The reason for the loss of ice is Oakridge had to give backe ice to West as they mis calculated on how much ice they needed. Also the March 18th game has been changed to Feb 25th. This means we have an extremely busy couple of weeks. From Feb 18th to March 1st we have 3 practices and 6 games. The other good news is Sarnia is asking to switch the March 8th game to March 2nd.

Hello All.  Great game today, kids played real hard and they came out with a hard fought victory. I just noticed and am not sure why but......we do not have a practice scheduled for Tuesday. Tuesday is suppose to be our regular scheduled practice so I assumed we had practice Tuesday. I have inquired why and am waiting a reply. I have also asked if their is any extra ice available, so we may have a practice this week on a different night. We still have practice on Friday morning (sorry that one didnt get cancelled).

Wow!!!!!!!! hard fought spirited game today. The kids played hard and gave everything they had today. We finished the regular season with a 14-9-2 record. We are very happy with this record and we feel that we can win the league with the continued hard work and effort that we as coaches have been asking for. It was one of our team goals to finsih 1st or 2nd in the league, we finished 3rd but thats ok, we finished strong and the kids now believe they can beat anyone.   

I have asked the players to be at practice on Tuesday by 640. If anyone cant be there at that time please let me know. Also our schedule is pretty much up to date, with only 2 games that are not up yet. Unfortunately we have games during March Break, and these games are playoff games, so if you are going to be away please let me know ASAP. Dave B

Hello, ALL.    Next Saturday, 3pm at Medway marks our first official practice. The original plan was to have a player meeting before practice for an hour or so, but a few coaches and players will be away. So I would like the ones who will be there to be at Medway for 2pm. I will be giving out a few handouts to them and would like to discuss a few things as well. Defence men I will be handing out your practice jerseys and socks, as well the goalies. Forwards please bring a dark jersey. We will be having a couple of exhibition games in the middle of September, as the rest of the London teams ...
