Oakridge Aeros Major Atom MD Fall Colors Finalist! Congratulations to the Oakridge Aeros Major Atom MD team on reaching the Finals of Big Bear Tournaments - The Fall Colors in Ann Arbor, Mi on October 25-27th.  The Boys battled hard all weekend and represented Oakridge and Canada well! The only team to Knock off the Aeros was Naperville Sabres (Chicago, Il Suburb). During Round Robin play, Naperville beat Oakridge 6-1.  in the Finals Oakridge fell behind 2-0 quickly but stormed back to give the Sabres all they could handle. The Sabres managed to net the winning goal with 4.1 seconds ...

A Strong Showing against Stratford even with 3 players away. Isaac D led the way with a hat trick. 

I first want to thank all the players for their efforts in this years tryouts. As always, making the final cut's is my toughest job. In the end I have to make the judgement call on the right mix to give us the best chance of success and development.  

Another good effort from the boys on Tuesday. As I announced on Tuesday, we will extend the tryouts to a exhibition game this Saturday at 1:30 at Kinsmen against Petrolia. Please note I have corrected the list. I made an error and excluded Simon D.
