Minor Peewee, B/BB Rep, 2016-2017, BB (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

The Oakridge Aeros Minor Peewee MD team raised 3,547 lbs of food for the London Food Bank during the 2016 holiday campaign.  This earned the team a practice, at Bud Gardens, with the London Knights!   It was a great experience for the team and we would like to thank the Knights for their time and and commitment to this year's Coach 4 Food campaign!   

Congratulations to the Oakridge Aeros Minor Peewee MD team on a great weekend of hockey!  They earned the top seed in the round-robin portion of the tournament and defeated the North London Nationals in the semi-final to earn a spot in Sunday's championship game.  Unfortunately, they dropped the final game against the West London Hawks, 2-1, in a hard fought battle. Congratulations to West London on their victory and to the host committee for running a very successful tournament.

The Minor Peewee MD team traveled to Detroit, on January 25, to play the West London Hawks in an exhibition game, before watching the Detroit Red Wings play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs.  It was a great day for our team and one that we will remember for many years to come!

Congratulations to the Oakridge Aeros Minor Peewee Team for capturing the championship this weekend in St. Catherines.  The Aeros defeated the Woodstock Navy Jets 3-0 in the championship game to cap off a perfect 5-0 tournament record.
