Great first tryout!!
Hello to all the parents and players. I just wanted to say how happy I was with our first tryout. All the boys worked hard, had great attitudes, and listened. I look forward to the next one on Saturday. The next tryout will be spent mainly as a three on three scrimmage with a couple of puck handling and skating drills to get everyone warmed up. I also wanted to share some exciting news so continue reading below.
Anyone who has subscribed to the calendar may have noticed another exhibition game added on October 2nd with the West London Hawks. We have been given the opportunity to play from 1-1:45pm at Budweiser Gardens before the pre-season NHL game between the Dallas Stars and the Florida Panthers. The ticket cost for the game will be $35.00 each and we are required to sell a minimum of 75 tickets total between the two teams. I have also been informed that if we sell 130 tickets the kids could also get the opportunity to high five the players as they go on the ice. We will discuss this further as a team once the final decisions have been made on September 14th, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up.
