Hello to all players trying out for Major Novice MD2 for the 2015-2016 Oakridge Aeros season.
I would like to welcome you all and your parents. My name is
Peter Gallagher and I have spent the last 4 seasons as a head instructor with
the London Ice Dawgs. I also have been playing hockey for 33 years with 2 years
JR D and 1 year JR B. I am looking forward to this season and the players
having a lot of fun. In my practices I will be doing a lot of puck control and
shooting drills as well as passing drills. I will start each practice with some
skating and I will try to finish each practice up with the players having some
fun. On game day it will be a relaxed dressing room with music playing. We will
be going in three tournaments this season. The first one is Oct 16-18 in
St.Catherine's and the second one on Dec 27-30th in Brantford and the last one is in
February here in London. I look forward to seeing all of you at the rink.
Also if there is anyone who might be interested in helping out with anything on the team please let me know. It would be really appreciated. The spots we are looking to fill are as follows: Assistant Coach, Manager, Parent Rep, Treasurer x 2, Home jersey and socks Parent, Away jersey and socks parent.
