Welcome to the Oakridge Areos Major Novice MD2 (tier 2) team
Our team consists of the top 14 skaters & 1 goaltender
from the Oakridge 2007 age group.
Cost â In addition to the regular hockey registration &
the competitive surcharge which was paid at the time of registration, approx.
$750 in other team costs (tournaments, exhibition games, and swag (warm up
suits, etc.) can be expected. This
includes a minimal amount of fundraising. Further reduction in team fees will be determined by amount of
fundraising by the team.
Travel We will be playing approximately 30 games including
teams from London (West, Bandits), Sarnia & Stratford. As well, we will be
participating in 3 tournaments:

Holiday Games League games are scheduled during Thanksgiving,
Christmas, March Break and Easter. Playoffs begin in February and go through to
April, including MARCH BREAK. Please do not book vacations during this time
period.
Fundraising All team families are required to participate
in fundraising activities throughout the season to assist with reducing the
team budget cost per family. Each
family will also be responsible in securing at least 1 sponsor for the team
banner. The group will decide on any
further fundraising efforts.
