U14 BB (2009), B/BB Rep, 2022-2023, BB (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

The U14 B/BB Aeros team were crowned champions of the 2023 Buffalo River Outdoor Classic! A four game undefeated run in the tournament ended with a dominating 4-0 win over the Barrie Colts in the Tier 1 final. This was after a come from behind shootout victory over the Caledon Hawks in the semi. The coaches are extremely proud of how the boys competed and represented Oakridge Hockey. Go Aeros!!!

Thank you to all the players who skated in the U14 BB tryout - everyone should be really proud of the attitude and effort they brought to each skate. This made the evaluations and final decisions incredibly difficult.  If your name is not on the list below, I wish you the best of luck moving forward this season. Please find below the roster for the game Tuesday night vs West (7:00pm, Bostwick Pad A). If you are not in the line up, you do not need to attend. As a reminder, no cuts were made today and the final roster will be posted after the game Tuesday. Please arrive 45 minutes early so I can run a warm up with the players outside. 

Great first skate from the players last night! To clarify the process from here; no cuts will be made until after the exhibition game vs West on September 13th. After that game, the final roster will be posted to the team site. I will do my best to post the roster as early as possible that evening. 

Welcome to the U14 BB/MD tryouts!! I would encourage all 2009 players to attend. If you still need to sign up, please let me know and I can help with registration.  As this can be a stressful time, I will be reminding the players to keep it simple, try their best, and have fun. While I will be running the tryouts, team selection will be based solely on assessments performed by independent evaluators.
