U9 BB Tier-1 (2014), B/BB Rep, 2022-2023, BB (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

All the players worked very hard during the tryouts, and I hope they are excited for a great season of hockey ahead!   A reminder that players should attend the Tier 2 tryout tonight at 5:00 pm (Kinsmen arena) if not selected for the Tier 1 team.

I hope all the players are looking forward to the tryout tonight.  They have all been working hard!   We will do a warmup prior to playing a game for most of the time.    Remember that tonight is 1.5 hours. Players should stay in the colour of jersey they wore last night.  A volunteer will have jerseys to hand out again.  Please remember to return the jerseys before you leave, if you have borrowed one.  

The tryout tomorrow will focus on small areas games and competition drills.  I expect to do some skating to warm up the players and then break into stations.   I will have at least one qualified trainer on one of the benches to help any of the players if there is a need during the skate.      A volunteer will assist with handing out jerseys with numbers on the back for the evaluators.  Please remember to return your jersey after the skate if you need to borrow one.   

I hope the players are excited for the first tryout!    Again, I am hoping that all players wear a jersey with a number on the back for the evaluators. 

Our first tryout is Sunday, September 18 at 9:00 am – Kinsmen Pad A.  I am waiting for a final list of players who are trying out.  I would like players to be in either a dark or white jersey with a number on the back.  This will be easy for most of you with red Oakridge jerseys from last year.  Do your best to find a white jersey with a number on it before Sunday.  I will post a list, most likely Saturday night.  I will ask for half to be in dark and half to be in white.  The numbers are for independent evaluators to reference.
