U11 MD (2011), B/BB Rep, 2021-2022, BB (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

Hello Everyone,  I want to start off by saying how excited and proud I am of how tryouts went and what we have to look forward to in the future.  Everyone should be very proud of their efforts.  We have a great group of players and parents that make our community of Oakridge so wonderful to be apart off.  Selection was difficult this year, but my non-parent evaluators helped me with the outcome.  To the players listed below; we look forward to starting our season and moving toward great things. 

Great first skate. I happy that we were able to get moving and knock the rust off. For tomorrow 6:30 at Kinsmen we will just run one big group. We will start with drills and skills tomorrow and finish with a scrimmage. Thursday we be a full ice scrimmage. We will plan for 1.5 hours of the 2 we have for both nights.

Players/Parents will see me before the skate to get their jerseys. Hold onto them throughout the tryout and return them to me at the end of Thursdays skate.

Hi Everyone, I am excited to see everyone on Monday night at Farquharson. Monday Oct 4 skate will not be an evaluation skate. We will work on return to play with skating, shooting and puck control to get everyone back on and feeling good. Tuesday Oct 5 will be a half drills half inner squad scrimmage rapping up with a scrimmage on Thursday Oct 7. I will post the team October 8 with the first team practice being Sunday October 10, 2021.

Hello, my name is Kyle McClennan, and I will be coaching this seasons U11 MD team. We are hopeful that we may be able to return to a semi normal season but will make the best of it in the meantime. We are planning on participate in both home and away tournaments as well as all regular season games as the current Covid situation progresses.
