Atom, B/BB Rep, 2019-2020, BB (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

Our Atom Aeros received a really big surprise by being hosted by members of the London Knights for a practice at Bud Gardens followed by a dressing room tour and pizza dinner. The boys were thrilled to enter the ice through the Knight's castle while their names were announced and the Knights even participated in the on ice activities. The boys, coaches, parents and siblings were beyond excited to take part in an unforgettable evening. We would all like to thank the Knights, Bud Gardens staff and especially Start.ca for giving so much to our hockey team. Thank you!!!

The Atom Aeros played four games this weekend and came just short of making the Championship game. After an early loss they won the next two games with 12 goals scored and only one against. All three lines contributed to the offense and the goalies stood tall. The final game was against a very good team from Kitchener and the Aeros put up a huge effort coming back several times to take the lead and then just fell short of a big upset. The coaches and parents were extremely impressed. We are looking forward to seeing how much this team can accomplish. Way to go boys!
