Minor Atom, B/BB Rep, 2018-2019, BB (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

What a weekend! Alliance Hockey Finalists. This group of boys made us all proud by going undefeated in three round-robin games and then just coming short 2 -1 in an extremely tight Championship game. We have seen such improvement over the year. You deserve those smiles.

At practice Tuesday the boys and coaches had a chance to show off their favourite NHL team's jersey. Nice to see a bunch of different teams represented. Even with Nick R. wearing a certain jersey under protest, it appears that blue and white is that night's winner. Oakridge red and white is still #1 overall. Go Aeros!

Congratulations to the Oakridge Minor Atom team and their coaches for a great weekend of hockey as finalists in the Byron Competitive Tournament. It included a "legendary" playoff clinching tie with 0.4 seconds left in the game vs the Bandits and a convincing 3-0 semi-final victory over Burlington Red.  You have come so far boys. We are very proud of you Aeros!
