More impressive then the game results were how the team conducted themselves on the ice. These young men faced some controversy over the weekend, but at the end of each game, each one of these young men can hold their heads very high. Some of the games were lob-sided but at the end of each game, the opposition could hold their heads high as the team showed their respect to their opposition. The team received a number of compliments from referees, tournament organizers and the opposition on how they conducted themselves

A good local tournament to be entered in. It was excellent to be given the opportunity to be allowed to enter a higher level tournament for the team

Team performed very well over the weekend. We had limited number of players for the Friday games and the players that typically don't receive a lot of game time, stepped up beyond expectations. We used 3 AP's over the weekend and all 3 performed incredibly well

It is very easy to look at the end result but this was the first time the team was entered into a A/AA tournament and we performed very well finishing tied for first place after round robin. A tough semi final game but at the end of the day, all players should be proud of their performance and effort they put into this tournament
