Oakridge B8, 2012-2013, U14-U15 Teams (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

There is no schedule yet, however we have been placed in the Bantam Group B division with 4 other teams.

The schedule for the Oakridge tournament has been posted and takes place on the family day long weekend, Feb 15-17.  We play 2 games on Friday (Feb 15) and 1 on Saturday (Feb 16).  The semi-finals are on Saturday evening with the finals on Sunday.

Our Manager Laurie has sent out an e-mail that outlines our team expenses for tournaments and name plates.  Please pay Laurie or myself as we get closer to the start of our first tournament on January 11, 2012.

We played a very solid team tonight (Oakridge A8 is now 7-0) who has a tight defense and solid goal-tending.  We had trouble penetrating their defense and getting good scoring chances, while at the other end we gave up too many good chances in close.

We played a fast-paced game and were able to move the puck effectively.  It's hard to see one team win when we play our friends on the other Oakridge teams; but the boys get up for these games the most.
