Registration Information (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

REGISTRATION INFORMATION - 2025/26

 

 

Please read all the below info:

Oakridge Aeros Hockey Association is a member of the Greater London Hockey Association (GLHA) and the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario.  While the OHF has recently made significant changes to their Player Movement regulations, each association is still allowed per regulations to abide by their boundaries and all GLHA members agreed to maintain recognized GLHA boundaries for BB/MD Representative Hockey.  

House League Hockey does not abide by boundaries, so you are eligible to play anywhere, contingent on it is within an Associations guideline to allow.

REGISTRATION PROCESS – Must be completed online via the Hockey Canada Registration system.
 

U10-U16 B/BB Spring Tryout Registration for the 2025-2026 Season (no fall tryout)

Tryout registration via Spordle will open April 14, 2025, MUST register to attend.  Cost is $65 to tryout + optional (based on availability) Prep Skate $80

House League & U8MD, U9MD and U18 BB Fall Tryout Registration for the 2025-2026

Registration will open June 1, 2025 and it is recommended that you register early as costs increase Aug 1, plus divisions my fill up quickly.  Registration will close 1 week prior to 1^st ice team for Prep/Evaluations skate, which are still pending but anticipate early September.

** Until a player is registered with payment and all required documentation/waivers have been completed, they are INELIGIBLE to go on the ice for tryouts or evaluations **

·         New participants or those who have moved MUST provide proof of address for i.e. copy of driver’s license or utility bill

·         New Participants or those playing competitive MUST provide proof of birth dates documents (ONLY birth certificates or passports are acceptable). 

·         All Players (U14 and below) must have Parental Respect In Sport - this is done once per family, but all players need to be recorded within the course.  Some players in previous season did not have this, please make sure this is recorded this season.  Details located on our website at Respect In Sport - Parent Program (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

REGISTRATION FEES  

Payment  -  Online Credit card, E-transfer in full or by payment plan

·         E-transfers – in full or by payment plan* - choose “Manual interact e-transfer” during checkout and send etransfer(s) to [email protected] which is automatically deposited into our bank account.  Please also include your child's name and birth date with e-transfer so we can apply payment to registration. E-transfers must be made by payment plan* schedule or by August 31^st if paying in full.

·         Payment plan – please choose “Manual interact e-transfer” and once completed contact registrar @ oakridgehockey.gmail.com with details i.e. requested sponsorship funding and waiting for funding or need to extend etc.

 Payment plan schedule (via credit card or e-transfer):

• 20% at the time of registration
• 40% due August 31, 2025
• 40% due October 1, 2025

If you require financial assistance – the most common programs we are aware of are organizations such as Jump Start, Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund, and KidSport that you can contact who may be able to offer assistance.  We are not able to contact them on your behalf as they require information we would not be privy to.

FAMILY DISCOUNT

A $150 discount is provided for the third and subsequent children for families registering three or more children at the same time.  If registration is not done at the same time, the system will not know to add the discount.

GLHA Refund Policy 

Registration fee minus $55.00 administrative fee until September 1st.

Registration fee minus $100.00 cancellation fee, plus the administrative fee of 55.00 until November 1st.

After November 1st, there will be no refunds.
