Although we came up just a little short in the Championship game, I cannot be any more proud of this group. Having to play 3 strong teams to make it to the semi finals, while other teams did not, this team showed resilience like no other.
Down at least a goal three times to the top Waterloo team riddled with former AAA players, the Oakridge team battled back to win a "David and Goliath" match. In the finals, playing a second Waterloo team in a row, the boys just didn't have enough in the tank. Having played 4 "cupcake" opponents, the Waterloo team had plenty of gas left to scrape by Oakridge. Not the ending we wanted, but what a great ride Oakridge!
