AEROS Celebrate Christmas; Skillz Comp & Party
What better way to wrap things up before the holidays than having a Skillz Comp & Christmas Party!
This coming Monday, December 17th after practice, we will host a party upstairs in the Community Room at Medway for players and their families.
We will have Pizza from Flying Tomato Pizza (one of our team sponsors). I
would appreciate it if a few parents could maybe bring drinks, chips,
sweets of some sort, paper plates and napkins. Please let me know this weekend if you are able to help out. As well, please let me know how many from your family would attend so we can order enough Pizza.
In the spirit of the season, we will do a gift exchange between the players, but with a twist.
For those who have been on my teams in years past, you will remember how the game goes. The first person (picked at random), picks a present from the table, opens it up and sits down. The second random person goes up, can rab the first persons gift and sit down and then the first person goes back to the table for another gift. If person #2 prefers to go to the table, person #1 keeps their gift until the next person comes up. I will explain the game fully the night of the party.
The value of the gift is to not exceed $20. All gifts need to be wrapped, no names on them.
With regards to the Skillz Comp, we will have a variety of stations set up on the ice:
- Fastest Skater
- Most Accurate Shooter
- Bull's Eye
- Best Penalty Shot
.....with prizes for each winner.
Feel free to bring your favorite team jersey, you can wear whatever you would like. The goal is to have fun after a strong work out.
*** The Skillz Comp will take place during the second half of practice on Monday night as Jason Bukala will be out with us running a variety of drills in the first half.
