Season 2 Kicks Off; Busy Schedule Ahead
Season 2 kicked off on Thursday night with a solid win against West London with a 3-0 win. With 7 games over the next 15 days, we will certainly have our hands full.
A solid effort to kick off Season 2 helps carry our momentum from the South Bend Tournament last weekend. That being said, we have 7 games over the course of the next 15 days:
Dec 8 vs Stratford @ Oakridge Arena
Dec 9 vs Burlington in Burlington
Dec 14 vs St Thomas in St Thomas
Dec 15 vs Waterloo @ Oakridge Arena
Dec 21 vs Waterloo in Waterloo
Dec 22 vs North @ Oakridge Arena
Dec 23 vs Kitchener in Kitchener
As you will see from the team calendar, lots of hockey. In effort to minimize being on the ice almost every day or every other day, I have cancelled the morning practices for both Wednesday, December 12th and Wednesday, December 19th. As well, I also cancelled the extra ice we were given for Sunday, December 16th.
It is important that the players continue to get enough rest and eat well and get all of their school work completed.
Lastly, please note that TPH Dryland Training for Tuesday, December 11th has been moved up a 1/2 hr to run from 7-830pm.
Great few weeks ahead with an opportunity to collect points in every single game. It takes 110% effort every time we step on the ice.
