Development (Oakridge Aeros Minor Hockey)

Oakridge Aeros Hockey Association is a member of the Greater London Hockey Association (GLHA) and the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario.  As such we will be participating in Spring Prep and Tryouts for all ages from U8 through to U16 for 2026-27 Season. Although Open Borders and Spring Tryouts are not new to Oakridge for U10 to U16 ages, this is the first year that U8 and U9 are being included.

The Greater London Hockey Association (GLHA) has announced upcoming adjustments to its geographic boundaries within London. These changes align with the OHF’s updated player‑movement regulations, which provide families with greater flexibility. The goal is not to encourage unnecessary movement, but to ensure families can choose the hockey experience that best supports their child—whether that means aligning with an organization’s philosophy, prioritizing player development, seeking a fun and positive environment, or finding a schedule/home rinks that fits their family’s needs.
