Tournament Successes - Oakridge HL Classic 2013
Bantam
Congratulations to the Bantam A8 team on winning the Oakridge Classic tournament.
The team worked through the round robin portion with a tie and two wins. The semi-final presented them with a tough challenge in a Waterloo Hyundai team. The Aeros got past them in a tight 2-1 game. The final pitted them against Kitchener in the finals, and they came out on the winning end of the game by a score of 5 -1.
Midget
Two Major Midget Oakridge teams B9 and D9 played to a shoot out in the finals of the 16 team tournament.
The game ended 5 - 5 after regulation, overtime solved nothing, and B9 won the game in a shoot out. Congrats to both teams on a great tournament and taking a group photo after the game.
