Ball Hockey & Burgers - Sat Nov 17
Spending time together as a team off the ice helps build friendships and team cohesiveness. We have gone through a rough stretch of games in the last month and the coaches are really hoping that things are finally going to take turn for us in the win column.
To help ignite the fire in our game, and to have a little fun at the same time, I will be hosting a Ball Hockey & Burgers event this Saturday, November 17th from 11am-130pm at my house at 53 Kingspark Crescent.
Players are to come with running shoes, ball hockey stick, gloves, and their favourite game jersey (for those that have one). It will be cold out and mostly sunny, please come dressed for the weather.
I would like this to develop in to a monthly event and would hope that another player could potentially host the next event in December, January, February, and March.
Players will be split up in to teams of 5 with two teams of 6 with a few round robin games. The winning team will go home with prizes and a trophy they will get to keep until the next event in December.
Burgers, chips, and drinks will be served and for those Dad's that want to hang around, there will be plenty of cold pops for everyone to enjoy.
