Blow Out Win For Red Aeros 21 (Dec. 9)
The Red Aeros broke out of their mini losing streak in a big way on Saturday morning by hanging a 9-2 shellaking on the West London Hawks. The Aeros scored early and they scored often and were led by Nik "Boom Boom" Vandeloo, who recorded his first multi-goal game of the season. Nik got the go ahead from the coaching staff prior to the game to unleash his big slap shot which he did on a regular basis throughout the game launching several howitzers.

"The Freight Train", Noah DeCandido, was on top of his game Saturday as well and worked in his brand new stick by firing one off of the West goalies head into the top corner of the net. The whole team got quite a kick out of that.
The Red Aeros were really moving the puck out of their own end well which in turn created many great scoring opportunities. "Cool Hand" Luke Smallwood had his best game of the year for the Aeros and while he didn't see a lot of action Lucas "Wheels" Caruso was solid in net when called upon.
The win improved the Red Aeros record to 5-4. Next game action for the team comes on Saturday Dec. 14th as they head once again to Carling Arena looking for their first road win of the season against another strong North London squad. Please note the 11:30am start time for next weeks game.
