Team Trip to Buffalo
What a great trip to Buffalo for the team to finish their March break with!

Yesterday's journey to watch Montreal down the Sabres 2-0 will be something the kids remember for a long long time and not just becuase of the great cupcakes and jello snacks.

Even with the delay at the border we got there in time for the kids to high five the players as they came out for warm up, and get really psyched up for a great NHL game.

The game was great and all our boys cheered extra hard when former London Knight Bradon Prust took to the ice for some hard-nosed hockey.

Even better than all the popcorn, hotdogs, cheering, being up on the Jumbotron, and Montreal's 2-0 victory was when they heard after the final buzzer that Coach Rob arranged for a special treat...

The boys had an incredible chance to meet with Brandon Prust and hear a few encouraging words from an NHL veteran as they continue their playoff run.

Thank you to John and Charlene for making all the arrangements for this trip back in the fall and following through with great organization right to the drop of the puck last night. Thanks to Theresa and Peter for the snacks and treats!
Thanks to all the parents who contributed  to the effort of getting 50 people across the border and back in one day and then chasing excited kids around an NHL rink.
Extra special thanks to Rob (and the Prust family) for making time for the kids after the game with Brandon.  I know it is something they will never forget!

Now it's on to play the Nationals and show them all the things we learned on our educational NHL field trip!
