Minor Atom A Finalist North York Knights Challenge 2012 Tournament
Congratulations to the Oakridge Aeros Minor Atom A team who were finalists at the North York Knights Challenge 2012 Tournament on February 3 – 5, 2012. The team opened with a commanding performance against Willowdale winning 3 to 0. This was followed by two thrilling games against Osgoode-Rideau and Nickle Centre which were both won by Oakridge by a score of 2 to 1 in shootouts. The semi-final against Stittsville was again controlled by our team with a final score of 2 to 0. This set up a rematch with Nickle Centre in the final. Our team played a solid game but Nickle Centre prevailed 3 to 1. It was a great tournament for all. Way to go Aeros!
